Studio & Contact Details World traveler and professional photographer David Simchock will be hosting his first studio social event at his new digs in 375 Depot Street in Asheville. This "studio warming" party will open David's space to the public, and will also serve as an opportunity for Asheville to learn more about its newest "man behind the lens" and how he sees the world and captures it with his Nikon.
This will be a relaxing and enjoyable evening for you to check out one of the River Arts District's most happening buildings, see some inspiring imagery from as far away as Easter Island and New Zealand to as near as Haywood Road, and to make some new friends and business contacts. You might even discover that the planet isn't quite as dangerous as you're led to believe!
The event is open to the public and free of charge. Refreshments will be served. If you are interested in attending,
PLEASE RSVP HERE. Also, please be sure to sign up for David's mailing list if you want to be notified of future social events such as this, as well as his extensive line-up of

But wait! There's more going on at this RAD studio... Just when you thought it was safe to wander around the planet, you find out that it's not even safe to drink the water in Asheville!
David is not only a dedicated artist and photography instructor, but he is also a passionate activist. Though only living in Asheville for two months, David and his partner, Beth aren't wasting any time in helping to make Asheville an even more awesome and healthier place to live.
If you are not aware, like many other municipal water systems around the country, Asheville adds FLUORIDE (a toxic waste) to its city water, allegedly to help Ashevillians with their dental hygiene. Well, despite what you've been told for decades, fluoride isn't all its cracked up to be. In fact, studies show that it's much worse than you could imagine. So, David and Beth are putting together an effort to have fluoride (and other harmful chemicals) removed from Asheville's city water.
If you are interested in learning more about "fluoride", and why a fluoride-free Asheville is in everybody's interest, come by David's studio on Thursday, September 15th for the screening of the informative documentary film, "The Fluoride Deception", on his big-screen display. Beth, a
holistic health counselor, will be on hand to discuss this issue with everyone, and to let you know how you can help with this effort.
